HAM & CHEESE PRETZEL SANDWICHES - Troop 9 will be selling their delicious ham and cheese pretzel sandwiches after all Masses next weekend September 27 & 28. They will be $2.25 each or 3 for $6. SCHOLARSHIP DINNER/DANCE - Looking for something fun to do on Saturday, October 18? St. Luke School PTO is hosting its 3rd annual Msgr. Goodill Scholarship Dinner/Dance in the SLS gym. Join us for a fabulous buffet from the Cab, 80’s music provided by DJ Joel Miller, and a great Chinese auction. The Crusader Cash winner will also be drawn during the festivities, so if you are 21 or older - Join Us! Doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $25 per person and can be bought in the school office, or by calling Chris and JoAnn Scheppner at 825-2726. Hope to see you all there. FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION - You are invited to spend an hour with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin October 3 after the 8:45 am Student Liturgy and continues until 5:00 pm at which time we will have benediction. Please come and adore Him! HEALING MASS - St. Luke will have a Healing Mass on Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 pm in church. All are invited. The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will be given to those who are experiencing physical, spiritual or even emotional discomfort. This Mass will count as your Sunday obligation. OUR CANTOR MINISTRY is depleting in numbers due to physical ailments, work commitments, etc. Cantors are needed to cover the 5:00 pm liturgy and the 10:00 am liturgy every other Sunday. The choir practices on Wednesday nights starting after Labor Day. We also need instrumentalists to help out with the 5:00 pm and 10:00 am liturgies. Drop by the church on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. CELEBRATION CHOIR - Come young and not so young who love God and enjoy praising Him with music and song. The Celebration Choir is in need of new vocalist and instrumentalist members. Practice is on Thursdays at 7:00 pm in the church. Come and be part of this special ministry for Our Lord.
